Mount Wachusett Community College is pleased to announce our Dean’s and President’s Lists for the fall 2023 semester. Students who complete a minimum of 12 semester hours are eligible. The Dean’s List requires a 3.30 to 3.99 grade point average while the President’s List requires a 4.0 grade point average.
MWCC has also added new recognition for students who attend part-time, which accounted for 73% of enrolled credit students in the 2022 Fiscal Year.
“Our high achieving part-time students have previously gone without formal recognition of their academic success,” notes MWCC President James Vander Hooven. “The new categories for students who are enrolled in between 6 and 11.5 semester hours remedy this. These students are juggling work, families, and other responsibilities while pursuing their studies. On behalf of all of us at MWCC, we congratulate these students on their hard work.”
Students who have earned between 6 and 11.5 semester hours and who have attained a grade point average of 4.0 and receive no incomplete grades are honored with placement on the Distinction List, while those who attain a grade point average between 3.3 and 3.99 are honored as Excellence List members.
